Today is Day 2 since officially founding Troy Naturopathic. Starting a practice in a location that I've recently moved to has its challenges but it also gives me a chance to truly start anew.
Yesterday I merely posted that I was beginning my practice on facebook and so many friends, family & colleagues took the effort to not only support this start with a facebook like but with words of congratulations, emails, texts, and phone calls. So today I am filled with brimming gratitude for their loving support.
Today I am grateful for God's love, my husband, my parents, my family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances I have yet to know better...
Gratitude, if practiced daily, is such a powerful tool to changing the way we think about the world around us. Practicing gratitude, from my experience, has always helped shift my focus from what I don't have and what isn't going right to seeing 'the glass half full' vs. empty. It has, thus, in turn given me the perspective & outlook I needed at the time to change my circumstance into a challenge.
What are you grateful for? Do you practice gratitude on a daily basis? How has practicing gratitude impacted your life?
